Bavo Poříčí

until 1989

The history of the Bavo Poříčí brand dates back to the 80s of the last century, when the production of transition bellows for trams, as it was usual at the time, was created as an associated production of State collective farm (JZD) Dolní Újezd. All the production capacity at that time was contracted for ČKD Praha in that times the largest tram manufacturer in the world.

After collapse of east markets after Cold war the tram production decreased and demand of Poříčí´s products went down. Stagnant production took over Josef Voral and bulit brand BAVO.

Private object in Poříčí was transformed to new residency of BAVO

In 2006 first bus SOR with BAVO bellow was manufactured. The colaboration with SOR has started and we decided to expand the production hall. We have been making bellows for approximately 800 buses since 2006.

The new production hall was bulit and we continued in supplying to firm SOR.

To improve quality and to increase capacity we bought a cutting plotter.

The company BAVO Poříčí Ltd. was found and it has taken 20 years tradition in production of transition and traction bellows.

Quality of production and standardization of production processes resulted in obtaining of Certificate of quality ISO 9001.

We received a christmass present: New laser plotter was delivered at 17th December. We also established Development department to follow new trends in articulated sstems production.

We strive for obtaining of welding Quality certificate 15085.
