The history of the Bavo Poříčí brand dates back to the 1980s, when the production of bellows for trams, as was common at the time, was established as an associated production of the Dolní Újezd collective farm. The entire production capacity was contracted to ČKD Praha, the world's largest tram manufacturer at the time.
1991
After the collapse of the eastern markets and the RVHP, tram production began to decline and thus the demand for Poříčí products decreased. Josef Voral took over the stagnating production and founded the company Bavo.
2000
We reconstructed an originally private building in Poříčí into the headquarters of Bavo.
2006
In 2006, the first SOR bus was produced, to which Bavo supplied the bellows. And because the offer was attractive and there was no capacity to satisfy the offer, the company management decided to expand the production hall. Since then, we have produced bellows for about 800 buses.
2007
A new hall was built and cooperation with SOR continued. 2007 - expanding production required the construction of a new production hall.
2010
In order to increase quality and production capacity, the first cutting plotter was purchased in 2010.
2012
The company BAVO Poříčí s. r. o. was founded and took over the more than twenty-year tradition of manufacturing transition and traction bellows from Mr. Josef Voral BAVO Poříčí.
2012
The confirmation of production quality and standardization of production processes was confirmed in 2014 by obtaining the ISO 9001 quality certificate. At the same time, in this year we completed and expanded the production hall.
2015
We're replacing the cutting plotter with a laser plotter. It's a Christmas present, it will appear with us on December 17, 2015. Since the same year, our development department has also started up in our company, trying to capture the current trends in the production of joint systems.
2017
We are working on obtaining the quality certificate ČSN 15085 for welds for railway rolling stock.
